Bobby Pahia. Farmer. Mentor. Cultural steward. 🌱
For over three decades, Bobby has done the work—literally in the māla, hands in the dirt, growing kalo and growing the next generation of farmers at Hawai'i Taro Farm in Waikapū.
As co-founder of Kaialahui Foundation, he's built more than farm infrastructure—he's created pathways for food security, equitable land and water access, and community resilience rooted in Hawaiian values.
Bobby's vision is clear: Hawaiʻi feeds its people first. He champions regenerative farming that honors both the ʻāina and the cultural foundations that have sustained us for generations.
His work isn't just about agriculture—it's about sovereignty, self-determination, and ensuring our keiki inherit land that can still feed them.
At the Koʻi Awards Gala, we honor Bobby for leading the movement to reconnect our people to our food systems and our ʻāina.
