Join us for Maui Hotel & Lodging Associationʻs Get Out the Vote event, a voter registration community event! Get questions answered about the voter registration process, meet local candidates, and enjoy family-friendly games and entertainment! Saturday, July 18, 2026 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM Queen Kaahumanu Center, Stage Area Registered Candidates for Get Out the Vote Event who choose to participate in the event will be listed by alphabetical order after summer filing deadlines. ***Candidates will not speak at the event, but residents can meet them and/or their campaign team in person at the nonpartisan event. WHAT: A complimentary, nonpartisan event aims to educate, inform, and encourage voter registration among community residents and provide an opportunity to meet all candidates running for office. Each candidate will have a separate table where audience members can visit, ask questions, and get more information on registering to vote. Campaign donations will NOT be allowed during the event. Registration is required for candidates to participate. 

Join us for a fun day walking around the Waiehu Kou neighborhood and talking to voters. We will be around all day, so you can show up for the whole time or even just an hour. We will meet up on Monday July 20th at 9am to do a brief training before we split up into teams to walk around at 10am to knock on doors, drop off printed materials, and talk to our neighbors about how important this election is for the future of Maui Nui. This is a family friendly event. Bring the kids, ride a bike, or follow us in the golf cart. We'll have music and swag for you to take home as well as our usual "Pahia at the Park" setup with bubbles and kids activities to keep it fun for everyone.  We will also get together on Thursday July 23rd to finish our canvassing list if needed.

KCA has requested that attendees please bring a donation for the Maui Food Bank (non-perishable food items, canned goods, refrigerated items, frozen foods, and fresh produce).
